The brief

Country homestead design has to work hard every day and still feel like an occasion, and that was the brief for this family homestead on a 900 acre property.

Modern farmhouse lines and stone feature walls set the tone outside. Inside, the kitchen connects to a fully fitted butler's pantry for entertaining, and the main suite sits in its own private wing with his and hers walk-in robes. A walk-in cold room answers the realities of rural life, and an Irish bar gives the family somewhere to celebrate.
