Questions builders ask us
What is a licensee builder?
A licensee builder uses Design Artisan's plan library, design and documentation services, and marketing support, exclusive to their area. You keep your own business name, brand and clients. It's a licence, not a franchise.
Is Design Artisan a franchise?
No. You keep your business name, your clients and how you run your business. We're the design and documentation team behind you.
Can another builder near me offer the same designs?
No. Our designs are exclusive to your area, so no other builder near you can offer them.
Am I locked into particular products or suppliers?
No. We want you to build the way you like, using the finishes and products you prefer and that help you deliver the best result.
What does it cost?
Terms are based on your area. Email us and we'll walk you through them.
How long does it take to get started?
You can use our services straight away. Full onboarding, including your plan library and refreshed website, takes a few months.
Can I make changes to the plans?
Yes. All changes go through our team, so your documentation stays consistent and ready for pricing and approvals.
Do you only work with builders in South East Queensland?
No. We work with licensee builders in Central Queensland, NSW and many other locations, and there's no minimum number of builds.
